        I think the most convinient option would be to get into a caribean medical school like XUSOM. Their clinical rotations are conducted in US, so you get US clinical experience

      I'd recommend getting a treo 680 (Not a 700 or higher) and a 2GB SD card. That way you have a phone, camera, MP3, its compatible with all the palm based medical software, even epocrates. The higher number models are NOT compatible with most fo the Palm based software. Its compact and fast for reference. Hope that helps, it helps me a ton. If you can not afford that, however, the Palm Tungsten E2 is a good alternative for all the medical stuff.

    I'd go with the blackberry 8820. You can use it as a phone, and if you don't have a SIM card, you can use it as a PDA. There is a ton of medical software for BB PDAs
